Acrylic Prints in the Gallery, Home, Office and Beyond

Updated: Feb 7, 2022

What do an artist, interior designer and photographer have in common?

They all elevate spaces with Acrylic Prints!

Acrylic Prints have become a new standard for fine art presentation from all types of photography, with a wide reaching range of clients, buyers and collectors. Due to the way they elevate interior environments with a high end, luxury feel, Acrylic Prints are a top choice for the gallery, home, office, and more. Let's hear from three Acrylic lovers on how they chose from our wide variety of Acrylic Print display options for three unique spaces.

“My background is fine arts, specifically painting and drawing. For the “M” series, I first created a large mixed media painting “Morocco,” using everything from acrylic paints, resin, gold leaf, incense, plants, oil pastels and other personal photographs on canvas. Using a medium format camera, I photographed macro images of the painting, curating over two thousand photographs down to a final nine. Inspired by an amazing Morocco trip, each print evokes a different memory, from the sand and surf to the busy markets.

I loved the idea of combining gallery quality, traditional fine art prints with a glossy, modern acrylic front, which actually makes the colors pop even more, a bonus because my “M” series is all about color! I felt Bay Photo’s Acrylic Prints were the perfect marriage of old and new, mirroring my own process of creating the art, using traditional techniques in unison with modern cameras and technology.”

“My clients, Seth and Sarah first reached out to me hoping to make some decorative upgrades to their dining room and personalize the space with a gallery wall. They wanted the gallery images to spark conversation with guests and tell stories of their shared experiences as a family. Throughout their travels to Istanbul, Columbia, and Spain (just to name a few!), they captured images of vivid landscapes and intricate, colorful architecture.

We chose Acrylic Prints for their sleek, modern look, knowing they would also be the best option for highlighting the colors and detail of their favorite photos. The variety of sizes (including custom sizes!) available through Bay Photo made it possible to design a gallery of images contained within one larger rectangle, creating a striking mosaic of their travels. We were so pleased with the quality of the prints and Bay Photo made the process easy from beginning to end.”

"These images are personal photographs taken from our local area in the Four Corners (the panorama is Choke Cherry in Farmington New Mexico & the other is Looking Glass Arch in Moab, UT) on display in a new MRI Facility owned and operated by Orthopedic Associates in Farmington, NM. Physicians within the practice wanted to showcase inspiring landscapes from the area, presented in the most pristine and professional way possible. As long-time clients of Bay Photo we immediately favored only 2 mediums as options, MetalPrints or Acrylic Prints, especially in consideration of the size and scale of the panoramic image they were requesting. The practice opted for the Acrylic Prints which we were thrilled about.

Unlike MetalPrints, the thick acrylic surface that covers the print adds such a compelling depth, texture and emotion to the image. I feel like it draws the viewer deeper into the story of the print. It also exudes luxury, especially with the larger gauge mounts. Installation and mounting was quite simple and of course, as could be expected with every product that comes out of Bay Photo, flawless in presentation. Even though we are seasoned professional photographers we always opt to have Bay Photo perform color correction as a safety measure for image accuracy. Bay Photo has also always replaced any items damaged due to shipping which is such a valuable insurance to have when ordering expensive print mediums like Acrylic Prints. We and the Practice couldn't be happier with the end result. Our hope is that these images will provide a measure of peace to patients who are experiencing an otherwise stressful situation."
